Kelsey Schaeffer, PA-C

Kelsey Schaeffer is a board-certified Physician Assistant with over eight years of experience practicing medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology throughout Florida. Since 2019, she has cared for patients in the Miami Beach community, where she is recognized for her thorough evaluations, compassionate approach, and commitment to providing personalized, evidence-based care.
A South Florida native, Kelsey was born and raised in Boca Raton. She graduated cum laude from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Health Science before earning her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale.

Kelsey is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is licensed by the Florida Board of Medicine. She further advanced her dermatology training by completing the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants Fellowship Program, an intensive postgraduate educational curriculum designed specifically for physician assistants practicing dermatology. She remains an active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants as well as the Florida Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.

Throughout her career, Kelsey has developed expertise in the diagnosis and management of a wide variety of skin conditions, as well as performing a broad range of dermatologic surgical and in-office procedures. Her practice places a particular emphasis on skin cancer detection, patient education, and preventive care. She believes that every patient deserves to feel heard, informed, and confident in their treatment plan, and she strives to create a welcoming environment where patients receive thoughtful, individualized care.
